Happy NAPOLCOM Anniversary!

Today we commemorate the 55th Founding Anniversary of the National Police Commission with the theme “NAPOLCOM@55: Meeting the Challenges of the Better Normal.”

This year’s theme aptly applies to the NAPOLCOM’s unwavering dedication and commitment to raise the degree of efficiency of the police service and achieve a professional police force in the country. Since its establishment on September 8, 1966 by virtue of Republic Act No. 4864, also known as “The Police Act of 1966”, the NAPOLCOM has undergone a number of changes in its organizational structure. Notwithstanding the changes in its structure, the intent and the raison d’etre remain the same – to professionalize and develop a credible and trustworthy police force. The NAPOLCOM – unfazed by changes and strengthened by challenges brought about by technology and time.
As we celebrate the Commission’s 55th Founding Anniversary, we remain resilient and united in working together in pursuit of a healthy, safe, secure, and peaceful communities who will stand stronger and ready for the better normal.
